Muleriders Stop Bison

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist suffered a setback Saturday when Southern Arkansas's quick defensive line hounded the Bison for a 52-7 win.
 
Pierce Spead scored from two yards out with 5:23 remaining in the game.
 
Isaiah Mallory led the Bison with 35 yards rushing while Stegall passed for 34 yards. Josh Pettijohn had two catches for 18 yards.
 
Defensively, D'Ante Meeking had 13 tackles and an interception. OBU had six tackles for loss with one each by Bob Bradshaw, Levi Jennings, Jason Lee, Gage Wimer, Dante Foster and Daniel Moniz. Lee and Moniz had quarterback sacks.
 
OBU returns to action Saturday at home against Northwestern Oklahoma State at 2 p.m.
