SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist returns home after three straight road matches to host Central Christian Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference billing at the OBU Soccer Complex.
 
The Bison enter the match looking to get back in the winning column after dropping a double overtime thriller to Harding last weekend.
 
OBU has been stout offensively this season, averaging 2.36 goals per match, the best mark in the Great American Conference. Vicente Castillo leads the way for the Bison with nine goals on the season. Thiago Dos Santos and Jonathan Martinez will look to continue their recent success after each scoring against Harding.
 
Thomas Ackernecht has the best save percentage in the GAC at .886, and is allowing just 0.77 goals per match. Matthew Giudice and David Estrada have each claimed GAC Defender of the Week honors this season and help to anchor a strong back line.
 
Central Christian rides into Bison Hill on a four match winning streak, having outscored opponents 22-3 during the current run. The Tigers compete in the NAIA and the NCCAA.
 
Oklahoma Baptist looks to pass the .500 mark against non-GAC schools this season, entering Tuesday's match with a 4-4-1 record.
