After an impressive five-set win earlier in the day, Oklahoma Baptist came up short in a 3-0 loss to Embry-Riddle to close out the Nova Southeastern Sharks Invitational Saturday in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
ERAU won 26-24, 25-17 and 25-19.
Cadyn Laing led the Lady Bison with 10 kills with Kynnedy Myers contributing 32 assists. Kaitlyn Lucy was the defensive standout of the game with 20 digs.
Laing and Lucy were named to the All-Invitational Team.
The loss ended a season-opening three-game win streak for the Bison. OBU, now 3-1, hosts Central Oklahoma Tuesday at 7 p.m.
