Henderson State Clips Lady Bison

Oklahoma Baptist missed 11 free throws and came out on the short end of a 77-74 final against Henderson State, ending an 18-game home win streak.

Both teams blew 10-point leads in the game with Henderson State bouncing back to take a lead in the fourth quarter. From that point, OBU was five of 10 from the free throw line.

The Lady Bison got big three-pointers by Raquel Dudzevich and McKenzie Cooper to give OBU opportunities to tie or go ahead late.

The Reddies employed a balanced offense with five double-figure scorers, led by Moe Bedford with 21 points and Victoria Stewart with 20.

Cooper led OBU with 28 points with Katy Custer adding 12. Tasha Edge led the OBU effort with seven rebounds and Cameerah Graves dished out seven assists.

Now 1-3 overall and 1-1 in the Great American Conference, the Lady Bison host former Sooner Athletic Conference foe USAO Monday at 6:30 p.m.
