Former Oklahoma Baptist volleyball player Tori Orms was hired in March of 2022 as assistant coach to the program. The 2024 season will be her third at OBU.
A three-time Sooner Athletic Conference champion and two-time OBU Dean's Honor Roll selection, Orms comes back to Bison Hill after having spent the last three years as head coach at Royse City High School in Texas. She led that program to two state playoff appearances.
Prior to leading the volleyball program at Royse City, Orms was an assistant at Colleyville Heritage, Independence and Ralph H. Poteet high schools in the Lone Star state between August of 2013 and August of 2019.
During her playing days at OBU, she was an NAIA Champions of Character award-winner in 2012 and earned the Bison award for leadership that year. Additionally, Orms helped lead the green and gold to a final ranking of fifth in the NAIA National Poll and quarterfinal appearance in the national tournament in 2012.
