Rachel Manriquez is in her first season as a part-time assistant coach at Oklahoma Baptist after joining the staff midway through the 2018 season.
Manriquez joins OBU’s staff midway through the season after wrapping up a three-year career at the University of Oklahoma. While at OU, she was twice named to the All-Big XII Academic First Team, and earned all-tournament honors at the 2016 Nike Classic.
In addition her duties at OBU, Manriquez serves as a coach for Kaizen Volleyball Club out of Oklahoma City.
Prior to OBU, Manriquez served as an assistant coach for the Casady High School boys’ volleyball team, as well as the head coach for the Casady Middle School boys’ volleyball team. In addition to her duties at Casady, Manriquez has served as a coach for Stringray Beach Volleyball Club (2014-18), and Oklahoma Regional Volleyball Association High Performance Future Select team. Her OKRVA team won the USA Volleyball High Performance Championship in 2018.
A 2018 graduate of Oklahoma, Manriquez earned a bachelors degree in communications. She is a member of Highland Park Baptist Church.
