- Attended California Baptist University for a year
- Was a four-time All-Suburban Conference 1st-Team Selection at Shawnee High School
- Earned Shawnee HS's Freshman and Sophomore of the Year honors
- Daughter of Steve and Lauri, both OBU graduates; her dad is OBU's compliance director
- Has two other sisters that also graduated from OBUÂ
