Mackenzie Crusoe joined the Oklahoma Baptist women's basketball staff as an assistant coach prior to the 2025-26 season, following an outstanding playing career in the Great American Conference.
In her first season on the sidelines, Crusoe helped guide Jaedyn Getman to First Team All-GAC and Second Team D2CCA All-Central Region honors. A recent First Team All-GAC selection herself, Crusoe transitioned directly into coaching following her graduate season at OBU. The Bison also excelled in the classroom, earning four CSC Academic All-District selections.
A standout guard at two different institutions, Crusoe finished her collegiate career with 1,856 points, 753 rebounds, 308 assists, and 260 steals. She helped lead OBU to 20 wins in her final season (2024-25), marking the program's first 20-win season in a decade.
Crusoe averaged 17.1 points and 4.0 rebounds per game while shooting 85.2 percent from the free-throw line, a mark tied for fifth in school history for single-season free-throw percentage.
She scored in double figures in 27 of 29 games, including 11 20-point performances, on her way to First Team All-GAC honors. Crusoe was also named CSC Academic All-District.
Prior to Oklahoma Baptist, Crusoe spent four seasons at East Central University, where she started 97 games and totaled 1,372 points, 643 rebounds, 217 assists, and 202 steals. A three-time Second Team All-GAC selection for the Tigers, she ranks among the top 10 in ECU history in eight statistical categories.
A native of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Crusoe helped lead Choctaw High School to three state tournament appearances and was a member of the Yellowjackets' 2017 state championship team.
She earned her bachelor's degree from East Central in 2024 and completed her MBA at Oklahoma Baptist in 2025.
