Zach Blevins has served in a variety of roles during his tenure on the Oklahoma Baptist football staff, coaching multiple offensive position groups while helping oversee the program's recruiting efforts. A former Bison student-athlete, Blevins has coached tight ends, running backs and offensive linemen while serving as Oklahoma Baptist's recruiting coordinator since 2022.
Blevins joined the Oklahoma Baptist coaching staff in 2021 as the program's tight ends coach. During his first two seasons on the sidelines, he worked with a Bison offense that captured the 2021 Fun Town RV Heritage Bowl championship and developed several of the top skill position players in the Great American Conference.
In 2022, Blevins added recruiting coordinator duties to his responsibilities. He transitioned to coaching running backs beginning in 2023, guiding the position group for two seasons while continuing to direct the program's recruiting efforts.
Following the 2024 season, Blevins returned to coaching tight ends in 2025. That season, Haydn Thornton earned All-GAC recognition after emerging as one of the conference's top tight ends. A year earlier, Haven Lysell-Stewart also received All-GAC honors, giving Blevins-coached tight ends back-to-back all-conference selections.
Blevins transitioned to offensive line coach in 2026 while continuing his responsibilities as recruiting coordinator. His experience coaching multiple offensive position groups has provided a unique perspective in helping develop Oklahoma Baptist's offense.
As both a coach and recruiter, Blevins has helped attract and develop numerous all-conference performers during his tenure on Bison Hill. His versatility has allowed him to contribute to nearly every area of the offense while helping build future recruiting classes.
A native of Cibolo, TX, Blevins was a member of the Oklahoma Baptist football program before joining the coaching staff. He earned his bachelor's degree in Sport Recreation and Sport Recreation Management from Oklahoma Baptist in 2020. Blevins is married to Allie, who is also a 2020 graduate of OBU. They have one child, daughter Millie Rose Blevins.
