Trey Odom comes to Bison Hill after spending time at Texas A&M in College Station.
He previously worked as a graduate assistant with the Aggies since February of 2024. He helped coach defensive backs with extensive wide receiver study and prepared scout cards during team practice periods. Odom was also part of a staff that helped recruit three, top-25 nationally ranked corners during the 2025 cycle.
Prior to his work with Texas A&M, Odom spent the 2024 rookie minicamp with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That experience was a part of Tampa's National Coaching Academy where Odom was selected as a Top 25 Finalist to participate in the Bucs' minicamp.
Odom also gained valuable experienced and two degrees from Rice University in Houston. He was a quality control coach as well as assist both sides of the ball. During his time there, Odom helped the Rice coaching staff to its first bowl berths since 2014 when the program made the Lending Tree Bowl (2022) and First Responder Bowl (2023).
In the classroom, Odom a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology in May of 2021 before earning his Master's in December of 2023.
Born in Lufkin, Texas, he grew up in Katy and attended Katy High School and was a defensive back from 2013-17.
