Stetson Harkness joined the Oklahoma Baptist football staff in 2025 as the program's running backs coach after gaining experience at both the collegiate and high school levels.

Prior to arriving on Bison Hill, Harkness served as an assistant strength and performance coach at Casady School beginning in 2024. In that role, he assisted with the development and training of student-athletes across multiple sports.

Harkness also spent time at Southern Nazarene University as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant from 2023-24. There, he assisted with the implementation of training programs and worked with student-athletes across a variety of sports.

In addition to his collegiate experience, Harkness served as wide receivers coach at Deer Creek High School from 2021-24. He began his coaching career as an offensive assistant at Guthrie High School in 2020.

A native of Oklahoma City, Harkness earned his bachelor's degree from Southern Nazarene University in 2023.
