The Oklahoma Baptist football program hired Stetson Harkness as its new running backs coach, effective June 1, 2025.

A native of Oklahoma City, he graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 2023 with a bachelor's in exercise science. He is currently working towards his Master's from SNU in sports administration.

Since 2024, Harkness has served as the assistant strength and performance coach at Casady School. Prior to his work at Casady, he was the wide receivers coach at Deer Creek High School from 2021-2024.

In between 2023-24, he worked at SNU as the strength and conditioning graduate assistant. Plus, in 2020, Harkness was an offensive assistant at Guthrie High School.
