Cornerbacks coach Gabe Lynn joined the football staff in 2017-18. Lynn previously coached at the University of Central Oklahoma where he was a graduate assistant and coached corners. Prior to coaching at the collegiate level, Lynn coached defensive backs at Norman North High School.
 
As a player. Lynn was an Army All-American out of Jenks High School. He went on to play and be a three-year starter at the University of Oklahoma where he earned All-Big 12 honors on the field and in academics. Lynn spent some time playing professionally with the Detroit Lions and Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
 
Lynn received his undergraduate degree in multi-disciplinary studies (2013) and master's degree in human relations (2015) from the University of Oklahoma. Lynn has been married to his wife Nicole for six years.
