A native of San Bernardino, California, Bison football letterwinner Albert Monge joined the coaching staff at his alma mater in 2019 as the program's tight ends coach. This will be Monge's third year coaching the Bison.

Monge played football and baseball for OBU and was a part of the first Division II Great American Conference championship team for Bison baseball in 2019.

As a two-sport athlete, he earned an associate’s degree in communication studies at Victor Valley College while winning two conference championships before transferring to OBU. Monge completed his bachelor’s degree at OBU in psychology and pre-counseling and is currently studying in the marriage and family therapy graduate program.
