WEATHERFORD, Okla. — Oklahoma Baptist closed out the road series with two more wins on Saturday, blanking Southwestern Oklahoma State 3–0 in Game 2 before outlasting the Bulldogs 8–7 in the finale. The Bison used clutch swings from the heart of the order and big outs in late innings to polish off a 3–0 week in Weatherford.
GAME 2 — Oklahoma Baptist 3, Southwestern Oklahoma State 0
A scoreless duel shifted in the sixth when
Alexah Reyes legged out an infield single and
Greenlee Wells unloaded a two-run homer to center, breaking the stalemate. Later in the frame,
Nichelle Marshall drilled a double and eventually scored on
Kaylee Davis's sacrifice fly for insurance.
Jaycee Kelln was superb, tossing a three-hit shutout with five strikeouts and no walks in a 96‑pitch complete game. Final: OBU 3, SWOSU 0.
