SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist Women's Basketball (13–13, 9–11 GAC) begins the final week of the regular season with a road trip to Northwestern Oklahoma State tonight before returning home to the Noble Complex Saturday for Senior Day against East Central University. The Bison enter the stretch on a two‑game win streak as they continue pushing toward GAC Tournament qualification.
Series History
Northwestern Oklahoma State: OBU leads the all‑time series 23–13–1. Northwestern won the most recent matchup on January 3, 2026, taking a 76–49 decision in Shawnee. Last season, the teams also met in the GAC Tournament, where NWOSU won a double-overtime contest.
East Central University: ECU leads the all‑time series 14–9, but the Bison have won three straight.

In conference play, the Bison average 67 points per game while shooting 40 percent from the field and allowing 66.5 points. Forward
Jaedyn Getman continues to anchor OBU's offense and ranks among the premier players in the nation. She leads the GAC and stands 19th nationally with 12 double-doubles this season. Additionally, Getman ranks first in the conference and 13th in NCAA Division II with 196 made field goals.
Northwestern Oklahoma State Notes
Northwestern enters the night as one of the GAC's strongest defensive units, allowing just 58.7 points per game, the best mark in the conference. Offensively, they average 71 points, shooting 42.3 percent from the field and 33.9 percent from three.
East Central Notes
ECU remains one of the top defensive teams in the GAC, allowing 60.5 points per game while scoring 61.8. When the teams met in December, OBU shot 50.8 percent and won the rebounding battle behind Getman's 17‑point, 12‑rebound double‑double.
