SHAWNEE – OBU Volleyball is back in action at home to take on the SNU Storm Thursday night.
The Bison will make their return to Noble for an evening meeting with the Storm from Southern Nazarene University. In the second week of conference play, the green and gold head into the match against SNU with a 7-8 overall record and an 0-2 conference record. The Storm has played one conference match, resulting in a loss to Northwestern Oklahoma State University.

- OBU Volleyball is coming into the evening matchup against the Storm hungry for a win after a hard five-set loss to SWOSU on Tuesday evening in Weatherford.
- Karsyn Hunter was the first lady in green and gold to secure a conference weekly honor in the 2024 season. Hunter was named GAC Defensive Player of the Week after the first week of play with an incredible performance as the libero for OBU.
- Head Coach, Anna Howle, recently secured her 400th win. In the OBU Fall Invitational, the Bison took the McKendree University Bearcats to five sets, securing a monumental win for Coach Howle at home in Noble.
- In the Preseason Poll, OBU Volleyball was picked to finish first in the GAC after sharing the regular season title and winning the conference tournament to claim the 2023 GAC Championship title.
- The green and gold lead the GAC in digs with 900 total digs, sitting in fifth in digs per set at 16.36. Bison Volleyball is tied for third in the conference in assists with 614 total assists, averaging 11.16 assists per set. OBU also holds the third most total kills in the conference with 670, placing fifth in kills per set at 12.18.
- Jill Leslie leads the conference in points at 181.5 points and is averaging a 3.30 hitting percentage. Emily Boyer leads the GAC with 527 assists, with the third best average at 9.58. Hunter is third in most digs in the conference with 244 for the sixth best average in the GAC at 4.44 digs per set.

- The Storm enters the evening matchup against the Bison with a 3-9 overall record and a 0-1 conference record.
- SNU Volleyball is coming off a two-game losing streak after getting swept back-to-back by Missouri Western State and Northwestern Oklahoma State.
- Riley Richardson is fourth in the conference with a .324 hitting percentage. Emma Grace Moddelmog is sitting at a 7.13 assists per set average to place eighth in conference. Tatum Smith has 3.56 digs per set to place ninth in the GAC.
