SHAWNEE – Bison Basketball is off to a clean start at home after a victory over UT Dallas Monday evening.

The green and gold showed out in Noble Complex, claiming their first regular season win at home over UT Dallas with an 80-70 final Monday night.

The Bison move to a 2-1 record after the evening's victory over the Comets. The first half of the game looked hopeful for the visitors, but OBU turned it on in the third quarter to jump ahead.

Mackenzie Crusoe led the green and gold offense with a new season high of 22 points. Crusoe also led the team with five assists and three steals. The Comets couldn't seem to keep their hands off Crusoe, allowing 12 free throw attempts for the Choctaw, Oklahoma, native, finishing the night 11-12 from the charity stripe.
