SHAWNEE – Bison Women's Cross Country placed 10
th out of 46 total teams Saturday morning in Dallas, Texas.
The green and gold made their way to the Lone Star State for a Saturday morning meet hosted by Dallas Baptist University. The Bison had five finishes in the top 100 out of 421 competitors.
The reigning 2x GAC Runner of the Week,
Sophia Strange, was first across for Oklahoma Baptist, taking fourth place overall with a 17:21.9 finish.
Kaylen King was second for the Bison, claiming 39
th place with a time of 18:26.9.
Shayna Hendrix placed 61
st with a 18:47.1 finish. Coming in at 65
th was
Jade Robinson with a time of 18:51.7.
McKayla Schmitt finished 82
nd at 19:05.5.
Jadyn Pavlik finished 102
nd at 19.16.5 and
Lauren Crouch finished with a time of 19:42.4 for 128
th place. OBU finished with a team average of 18:30.6.
The green and gold will look onward to the GAC Championship on Oct. 26 in Ada, Oklahoma.
