SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist is back at home on Saturday, Oct. 19 when it faces Northwestern Oklahoma State at 2 p.m. at the OBU Soccer Complex. Prior to the match, an 11 a.m. Alumni Game will take place.
The Bison are in unchartered waters, having been defeated in three straight Great American Conference matches for the first time since 2015. That said, OBU has been very good at home against Northwestern, posting a 12-2 record in Shawnee since 2006. In 11 of those contests, they have scored multiple goals.
Earlier this season, the two teams played to a hard-fought 0-0 draw in Alva on Sept. 28.
Here are notes on both teams with six contests remaining in the regular season.
