Bison Aiming for Another Strong Week

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist picked up two road conference victories last week and are looking for more with matches against Southern Nazarene and East Central this coming Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.

A week ago, the Bison rallied for a 5-3 win at Ouachita and earned a tough 1-0 win at Harding to improve to 3-5 and more importantly 2-0 in the Great American Conference. They are in first place heading into Tuesday night's match at SNU.

Senior Katie Fowler scored a hat trick against Ouachita, a match in which the green and gold trailed 3-0 late in the first half. Also in that contest, Olivia Kenas and freshman Annabelle Joski tallied goals while newcomer Krissy Fulton notched two assists.

Then against Harding, Anna Fulton tallied the game-winner on an assist by Makenzy Morgan to complete the perfect week. Defensively, sophomore goalie Ireland Jeffrey started the second half against Ouachita and the entire match versus HU and did not surrender a goal.
