MATCH ONE

The Bison shook off a first-set loss to win the next three over Spring Hill at UWF Field House.

Frierson recorded her third double-double in the last four matches after notching 11 kills and 19 digs while
Taneyah Brown was one off the match lead with 15 kills.
Rylee Martin handed out a team-high 28 assists with Langford pacing the OBU defense with 23 digs.

Also of note,
Jill Leslie contributed 12 kills on an outstanding .440 attack mark.

After falling 25-22 in the first, OBU came back in the second and tied the match with a 25-23 victory.

Early on, the Badgers had a 7-3 advantage before the green and gold got into rhythm. OBU raced in front, 11-9, after
Avery Hellmuth and Brown's block. Following that defensive point, the score traded hands a bit. In fact, each team had a couple of leads before OBU secured the last two points to win. Leslie provided a kill before Spring Hill erred on an attack allowing the Bison to tie the match.

Third-set competition brought a 7-1 stretch by OBU to seize control. Tied at 7-all,
Jenna West secured a couple of those points while a few blocks from Hellmuth, Leslie and Brown gave the Bison enough cushion (14-8) to remain in front for good. The closest the Badgers got the rest of the way was two points.

Leading 2-1, the Bison had their best set in the fourth. They hit .286 and limited Spring Hill to a 0.085 attack percentage. The score was close for nearly the entirety of the set before OBU prevailed late. Nursing a 19-18 lead, OBU scored four of five, capped off by an error from the Badgers to go up 23-19. Spring Hill then made things interesting with three straight points before the Bison got the deciding points from Leslie and an attack error to win 25-22.

MATCH TWO

OBU's defense was sensational throughout the match against UNCP. It came up with 10 total blocks six of which were delivered by
Audrey Poupard. On top of that, the Bison held the Braves to a -.035 attack mark.

The first set was highlighted by a massive Bison comeback. Down 22-15, OBU was aided by a half-dozen errors from UNCP and the green and gold rallied to win 27-25. Frierson added two kills along the way while Leslie recorded a solo block to help OBU win the set.

In the second, West, Leslie and Frierson all notched kills to help OBU race out to an 8-1 lead. The Braves never recovered after that and eventually fell 25-11 on a Frierson kill.

OBU wrapped up the match in the third with another convincing set win. With a one-point lead, 11-10, OBU scored four straight, which included a kill and ace by West. That spurt led to another at the end as Poupard got two kills along with two errors by UNCP. Those last four points made the tally 25-15.
