SHAWNEE – A chance to secure the Great American Conference's Regular Season Title in in play for Oklahoma Baptist with matches against Northwestern Oklahoma State and Southwestern Oklahoma State this week.
On Oct. 27, the Bison head to Alva to face the Rangers before returning home the 29th to play SWOSU on Senior Night. With yesterday's 4-4 tie between Harding and Ouachita, if the Bison win both their matches, they'll be regular-season champs for the fourth time.
In the last five matches for OBU, which has generated a 2-1-2 record, the team's defense has seemed to find a little late-season groove. Only two goals have been allowed in 450 minutes while opponents have attained just 3.6 shots on goal per game. Additionally, goalies

Northwestern Oklahoma State has an interesting stretch going on. In its last seven matches, the Rangers have tied five times with two wins over OBU and Southern Nazarene. Overall, the Rangers are 6-4-6 with a 3-2-5 GAC record. A win in either of their last two regular-season games will clinch a spot in the four-team tourney. Thursday's contest in Alva will be the seventh all-time between the two squads with the green and gold having won the previous six.

SWOSU has tied its last two opponents, including a shocking scoreless draw at Harding on Oct. 22 which opened the door for OBU to claim the regular-season title. The season, the Bulldogs, which have a 6-0 win in their belt over the Bison, are 5-4-7 and 5-0-5 in the GAC. Of note, SWOSU is 1-2-5 away from Weatherford. Saturday's game in Shawnee will be the 20th all-time with the Bulldogs leading 8-7-4.
