SHAWNEE – One game is on the schedule this week for the Oklahoma Baptist soccer team. On Sept. 14, the Bison host Texas A&M – Commerce at 4 p.m. for their final non-conference match of the fall season.
OBU is coming off a 4-3 comeback victory over the weekend at Central Oklahoma. In that contest,
Hannah White tallied three second-half goals, her first career hat trick, while first-year goalie
Ireland Jeffrey stopped seven UCO shots in the same stanza.
Additionally,
Jessie Sims,
Tori Kitchel,
Kaylee Swaner and
Annie Louthan all tallied points for the Bison. The victory was the team's first this season.

The Lions enter Tuesday's match with a 2-2 record following a 3-1 loss to University of Colorado Colorado Springs on Sept. 11. A&M-Commerce is coached by Neil Piper who has been at the helm since 1998 (23 seasons). Piper has directed the Lions to four Lone Star Conference Tournament Championships and eight NCAA Tournament appearances which has included four trips to the "Sweet 16." Heading into the fall season, A&M Commerce was picked to finish fifth in the LSC.
