DALLAS, Texas – The Oklahoma Baptist women's soccer team fell to the sixth-ranked Dallas Baptist Patriots, 6-0, in a Tuesday afternoon matinee contest in Dallas.
Â
OBU made the drive down I-35 for another shot at the Patriots. Unfortunately for the Bison, DBU's offense came out red-hot and connected on all but one of their shots on goal. The Bison were able to test the two Patriot goalkeepers four times, but they stood strong and kept OBU out of the net.
Katie Fowler and
Emily Griffith led the day for the Bison with two shots and one shot on goal apiece.
Anna Fulton and
Tori Kitchel were responsible for the other two shots on goal.Â
Â
The Bison will look to regroup and bounce back on Saturday, March 13, when they welcome Northwestern Oklahoma State to the OBU Soccer Complex. Kickoff for the match is set for 2 p.m.
