WEATHERFORD, Okla. – A blazing hot Bison offense claimed another non-conference Central Region win Tuesday afternoon, downing Southwestern Oklahoma State, 16-6, in Weatherford. Eight Bison got on the scoreboard and four batters put up multiple RBIs.

Cliff Pradd led the Bison offense, going 4-5 and scoring three runs. He posted a season-high three doubles and five RBIs and added one of three Bison home runs.
Ramon Enriquez,
Kaimana Bartolome, and
Cade Kissel all matched Pradd with three runs apiece.
Eric Carlson,
Joey Pledger, and Bartolome also posted multiple RBIs in the victory.Â

The Bison offensive onslaught started in the top of the first when Carlson doubled down the left field line, batting in Bartolome, Enriquez, and Pradd.Â

OBU then posted a five run second inning. Pradd got the scoring started when he batted in Kissel. Pradd then scored on a passed ball, and Bartolome followed Pradd's RBI double with one of his own, batting in Enriquez. Pledger capped off the second when he homered to center field and brought Bartolome home.Â

Over the next four innings the Bison were able to double their score. In the fifth Pradd and Bartolome posted back-to-back two-run home runs. Later, Pradd batted in the game-sealing runs when he hit an RBI double down the right field line.

Up next, OBU will hit the road as they travel to Searcy, Arkansas, to take on Harding in a Great American Conference series. First pitch of the series is set for Friday, March 13, at 6 p.m. The series will conclude on Saturday, March 14, with a doubleheader beginning at 12 p.m.
