SHAWNEE – The Oklahoma Baptist women's basketball team fell to Great American Conference leader Southeastern Oklahoma State, 86-52, in a Thursday night contest at the Noble Complex.

Mikayla Shulanberger,
McKenzie Cooper, and
Jaylin Stapleton led the way for the Bison scoring 12, 11, and 10 points, respectively. Shulanberger also led the team with eight rebounds and added three steals.
Kaydee Banks led the Bison in three-point shooting, going 3-6 from behind the arc. The Bison were able to keep the game close in the first quarter, only trailing by seven. But the Savage Storm's offense found its groove in the second period, as the visitors shot 88 percent (7-8) from three-point range to separate themselves.

OBU will look to refocus as they go on the road Saturday, Feb. 8, to take on Southwestern Oklahoma State with tipoff set for 11 a.m. in Weatherford.
