SHAWNEE – The Oklahoma Baptist women's basketball team is set to take on Southeastern Oklahoma State and Southwestern Oklahoma State in Great American Conference action this week. The Bison will be at home this Thursday as they welcome in the Savage Storm, tip off is set for 5:30 at the Noble Complex. Then on Saturday Feb. 8, at 11 a.m. the Bison will make the trip to Weatherford to take on the Bulldogs.

McKenzie Cooper and
Jaylin Stapleton will lead the charge for the Bison. Cooper remains atop the Bison leader boards posting a season 14.8 points per game. Stapleton will look to build off a season high night. In the matchup with Henderson State she posted a season high 23 points. In her last six games she has posted double digit performances in five of them.

SEOSU comes into the Noble Complex ranked second in the GAC. The Savage Storm are on a three-game losing streak. Katie Webb leads the Savage Storm averaging 18.4 points per game. She is coming off a 20-point performance against conference leader Arkansas Tech.

The Bulldogs enter the weekend having won two in a row. SWOSU fields five players all of whom average double digits. Makyra Tramble leads the Bulldogs with a 14.3 points per game average.

On Thursday OBU Athletics' welcomes in Tinker Federal Credit Union as the game sponsor. During the game TFCU will be giving out an iPad during halftime. All fans have to do is come out and enter the drawing.
