ADA, Okla. – The Oklahoma Baptist softball team dropped a pair of close games to East Central on day one of the teams' four-game series. The Lady Bison fell in game one, 1-0, and game two, 4-3.

In game two, the Lady Bison recorded a total of seven hits.Â
Franki Hull,
Demi Dobbs, and
Shelby Savage led the team with two apiece. In the top of the first, Hull blasted a shot down the right field line advancing
Bry Flanagan to third. Dobbs then singled down the left field line, which allowed Flanagan to score.
In the top of the fifth OBU was able to tie the game at 3-3, scoring two runs off a single by Savage. East Central was able to score the game-winning run in the bottom of the sixth.
In game one OBU had a total of three hits coming off the bats of
Cheyenne Demaree,
McKenna Anderson, and Savage.
