ADA, Okla. – Oklahoma Baptist dropped a pair of softball games to East Central Friday to close out the four-game series. The Lady Bison fell in game one, 5-3, and game two, 8-5.

In game one OBU had a total of six hits, withÂ
Shelby Savage leading the team with two.Â
Katie Long led off the scoring for the Lady Bison with a solo home run. In the top of the fifth Savage hit a double, scoring
Aspen Grimes. Later in the inning
Tyra Garcia got on base on an error and Savage scored.
In game two, the Lady Bison recorded eight hits.
Demi Dobbs and Savage led the team with two apiece. Dobbs led off the scoring for OBU with a two-run homer, batting in
Franki Hull. In the top of the second,
Haylee Hall recorded her first hit of the season, driving in Savage. In the top of the third Dobbs blasted another home run -- her second of the day and 11
th this season.
McKenna Anderson rounded out the scoring for OBU, batting in Savage on an RBI single.
OBU begins its final series of the season at Southeastern Oklahoma State on Friday, April 26, beginning at 2 p.m.
