ADA, Okla. – Oklahoma Baptist defeated East Central in a non-conference match up Tuesday, 13-4. The Bison improved to 18-11 on the year and upped their season win streak against the Tigers to three.
OBU came out strong offensively, recording 10 hits, with
Brock Carter and
PJ Harris leading the team with three each. OBU scored four runs each in the third and fourth innings.
Ramon Enriquez led off the scoring with an RBI.
Kaimana Bartolome and
Kaden Betsch both followed with singles and that drove in a pair of runs each.
In the fourth, Enriquez and
Jake Gozzo both singled and drove in runs. Enriquez rounded out the scoring in the fourth on a wild pitch.
OBU sealed the game with a two-run home run by Harris in the top of the seventh that scored
Brock Carter. Harris's homer was his sixth of the year, tying him with Garret McKee for third on the team.
