SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist dropped a pair of softball games to Arkansas Tech on day two of a four-game weekend series. The Lady Bison fell in game one, 8-3, and game two, 14-2.
In game one OBU had a total of three hits coming off the bats of
Kristen Grabin,
Bry Flanagan, and
Aspen Grimes. In the bottom of the second Flanagan batted in
Shelby Savage,
Katie Long, and Grabin on a double for OBU's only runs.
Haylee Hall came in for Long and pitched for the Lady Bison over the final three-plus innings. She gave up only one run on two hits.
In game two, the Lady Bison recorded three hits from
Franki Hull,
Cheyenne Demaree and Grabin. Hull blasted a shot to centerfield for her third home run of the season. She batted in Grabin who led off with a single. Hull is now tied with Demaree for second on the team in home runs. Both trail
Demi Dobbs who leads the team with six.
OBU plays Southern Nazarene next in a double header on the road in Bethany on Tuesday, March 26 beginning at 2 p.m.
