MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist was limited to a season-low point output falling 66-47 to Southern Arkansas in a men's basketball game Saturday.
Even with the loss, OBU still remained the third seed in the upcoming Great American Conference men's basketball tournament. The Bison will play against the sixth-seed East Central Friday in Bartlesville. Tipoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. OBU has beaten ECU in both of their matchups this year.
Antonio Wade was the only OBU player to reach double figures in scoring against SAU with 11 points.
OBU was down 38-24 at halftime. OBU got within seven points early in the second half when
Michael Horne knocked down a three pointer to trim SAU's margin to 40-33. The Bison would get no closer and the final 19-point margin was the game's biggest for the Muleriders.
