SHAWNEE – Lauren McCormack was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the RMAC offices announced Monday afternoon.
Â
McCormack, a junior attack from Allen, Texas, led Oklahoma Baptist with 11 (8g, 3a) points across two games last weekend. She recorded a game-high five goals and three assists in OBU's 21-1 win over Saint Mary before recording a second hat trick against Maryville the following day.
Â
The junior also controlled 29 draws, and currently leads all of Division II with an average of 13.3 draw controls per game.
Â
This is the second time in her career to receive a weekly honor, winning the award for the first time on Feb. 19 of last year.
Â
Oklahoma Baptist (2-1, 0-0 RMAC) has the week off before hosting Colorado-Colorado Springs on March 9 at 11 a.m. The game will serve as OBU's home and conference opener.
