Men Aim to Send Seniors Out as Winners

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist will try to send its senior class out as winners in the last home game of the men's basketball season. OBU will meet Harding University on Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Noble Complex in Shawnee. The senior basketball players will be recognized in a ceremony prior to the tip scheduled at 3 p.m.

Oklahoma Baptist (13-12, 12-7) vs. Harding (5-20, 3-16)

THE TEAMS

• Oklahoma Baptist is 13-12 overall and 12-7 GAC, tied with East Central and Henderson State in fourth…OBU has clinched a berth in the GAC Tournament…OBU is playing at home for the 14^th time where they are 9-4.

• OBU lost 89-87 to Arkansas Tech Thursday at home when the Wonder Boys scored on a put back basket with 0.04 seconds remaining…Harrison Stoddart had 25 points to lead OBU in scoring.
• Harding lost 96-75 to nationally-ranked Southern Nazarene Thursday in Bethany…Jordan West had 20 points and Collier Blackburn scored all 15 of his points behind the three-point arc.

• Harrison Stoddart is averaging 22 points and six rebounds in the last two games…He has made 14-of-21 (67%) from the field and nine-of-14 (64%) from three-point distance.
• Dishon Lowery has two consecutive games in which he has had double-figures in both scoring and rebounding…He has nine double-doubles, second to Southeastern's Kevin Buckingham's 11.
• Antonio Wade raised his scoring average to 16.2 points per game…He has scored 20-or-more points six times, including twice in the last three games. His high was 36 against Northwestern.
