SHAWNEE – The OBU women's basketball team is set to take on Southwestern Oklahoma State in a Saturday afternoon matinee matchup at the Noble Complex. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m., as the Bison look to bounce back after losing a heartbreaker at East Central in overtime last weekend.

In last year's games against the Lady Bulldogs,
Charissa Price posted two of her strongest career outings. When the teams met in Weatherford, Price scored 19 first-half points en route to a then-career-high 22 point outing as OBU fell 83-71. In the return matchup in Shawnee, the sharpshooter from Midwest City netted seven three-pointers to set a new career mark with 33 points as the Bison pushed the eventual national runners-up before dropping an 84-77 decision.

Kalifa Ford comes into Saturday's matchup leading the team with 147 overall points while averaging 18.4 per game. The balanced Bison also boast a pair of double-digit scorers in redshirt senior
McKenzie Cooper (16.0 ppg) and junior transfer
Jaylin Stapleton (12.9 ppg).
