Bison Win Second Straight

CLAREMORE, Okla. – The Oklahoma Baptist women's basketball team won their second straight. They outscored Rogers State by 30, with a final score of 82-52. The Bison avenge last year's loss to the Hillcats.

OBU dominated both halves. They outscored RSU by 12 in the first half and by 18 in the second. Kalifa Ford led the offense for OBU in the first half scoring a total of 15. The only lead the Hillcats were able to gain, came in the first quarter, when they led 10-8. Then, at the five minute and 20 second mark, the Bison tied the game at 10 and never looked back from there.

In the second half, the Bison only continued to add to their score, never allowing the Hillcats to make up the 12-point halftime difference. Then OBU's largest lead of the game came with just under three minutes left, where the Bison led by 31. RSU was only able to net gain back one point which ultimately led to the final score of 82-52.
