SHAWNEE – The OBU women's basketball team opens its 2019-20 home slate Tuesday night against visiting Ozark Christian. Tipoff between the Bison and Ambassadors is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. inside the Noble Complex.
Tuesday night's game is part of a special Girls Night promotion by OBU Athletics that includes a doubleheader featuring the volleyball and women's basketball teams. The Bison volleyball squad leads things off with a 5:30 p.m. match against Southeastern Oklahoma State, immediately followed by the women's basketball contest against Ozark Christian.
In partnership with Samaritan's Purse, fans who bring a WOW item for girls ages 10-14 to donate to Operation Christmas Child will receive free admission. This will be the first matchup for the OBU women against Ozark Christian. The Bison are looking to bounce back from a heartbreaking 89-88 loss to Washburn in the GAC/MIAA challenge over the weekend.

Jaylin Stapleton all lead the team in overall points and average points scored. Each average over 15 points per game with Ford leading the team with 19.
