SHAWNEE – A pair of Great American Conference matches are on the slate for Oklahoma Baptist this week. The Bison will remain on the road to start the week, taking on Southern Nazarene for the second time in less than two weeks on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 7 p.m. Oklahoma Baptist then returns home on Saturday, Oct. 12 for a 6 p.m. bout against East Central.
The Bison are currently in a three-way tie for first place on six points in the standings thanks to a 2-1 record in league matches. A 4-4-1 record, OBU will be looking for just its second road win of the season when they visit the Crimson Storm on Tuesday.
Averaging 25.25 shots/match, the Bison are wanting for chances this season, but are averaging just 2.38 goals/match.

Reagan Mann are tied at the top of the team leaderboard with four goals apiece. With three assists to go along with her four goals, King is tied for third in the GAC with an average of 1.38 points/match.
Defensively, OBU is allowing just 10.88 shots/match and 1.22 goals/match.
Emily Griffith ranks second in the league with a goals-against average of 1.22 while posting a .778 save percentage.
The Crimson Storm are 2-6-1 with a 0-3 mark in GAC play, including an 11-0 loss to the Bison on Saturday, Sept. 28. Southern Nazarene is averaging .88 goals/match, with Karsyn Matthews and Sydney Davenport tied for team honors at two goals apiece. Ashlynn Pritchett owns a 2.12 GAA and .800 save percentage.
East Central is 3-5 on the year, but 1-1 against GAC opposition. The Tigers are averaging a league-low .83 goals/match, with Aubrey Leveling leading the way with two goals this term. Mollie Nance has a league-high 2.95 GAA to go along with a .571 save percentage.
