Women Set to Compete in Fayetteville

SHAWNEE – The women's cross-country team is set to compete for the second time at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville Ark. on Saturday. OBU took second place at the festival back in 2017.

So far this season the Bison have placed first at the University of Central Oklahoma Land Run. However, this will be the first meet for the team since the UCO Land Run.

Coach Kennedy praised his team's resiliency as they have gotten healthy all while still practicing hard.

Tesa Potter comes into the meet as the team's leading runner having ran a 19:11:24 at the UCO Land Run.

The meet is set to begin Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
