• Oklahoma Baptist is 9-7 overall and 8-2 GAC, tied with Southern Nazarene for second…OBU has went 5-1 since a 4-6 start…The Bison are 6-3 at home this season with losses to Rogers State (82-80), Central Oklahoma (77-74) and Southern Nazarene (58-57).
   
• Southern Arkansas is 14-2 overall and 9-1 GAC, alone in first.…SAU has won eight straight with the last loss a 75-74 road loss to Harding on Dec. 1…SAU is 5-1 on the road and have beaten Northwestern Oklahoma, Southwestern Oklahoma and Arkansas-Monticello in succession. SAU was 15-14 last year and advanced to the GAC Tournament where they were beaten 76-71 by Northwestern Oklahoma in the first round…SAU has nine players returning, including C.J. Elkins the team's top scorer (14 ppg.) and leader in assists (3.2 apg.).

SERIES

• Teams are meeting for the seventh time…SAU leads the series 5-1…OBU's lone win was a 77-74 victory at home Nov. 18, 2017 behind Chandler Rickey's 27 points.
• SAU won 84-64 the last time the two teams met on Jan. 25, 2018 in Magnolia. Rickey had 22 points to lead the Bison while Charlie Thomas had 22 for SAU.

• OBU won 97-91 in a double OT game Saturday against NWOSU…Antonio Wade had a season-high 36 points…Only SWOSU's Tre Evans (40) scored more in a game against Southern Nazarene
• SAU beat Harding 70-66 Saturday at home…Wesley Nosakhare led his team in scoring with 14.

• OBU is first in the GAC in scoring averaging 83.1 ppg…The Bison have scored 90 or more points four times this year, winning three.
