THE GAME
  • Oklahoma Baptist hosts Northwestern Oklahoma State at the Noble Complex with tip off scheduled for 1 p.m.
  • As part of OBU Athletics' "Fanuary" campaign, Saturday has been designated as "Hometown Hero Day" with free admission offered for military and first responders and their families (up to four).

  • Teams are meeting for the 51st time…OBU leads series 35-15…OBU is  4-2 as NCAA Division II
  • In the last meeting, OBU won 98-89 on Feb. 15, 2018 in Shawnee... Mackenzie Cooper had 23 point to lead the Lady Bison while Kinsey Neiderer had 22 points to lead the Rangers.
     
LAST OUTING
  • OBU lost a 78-76 game to Southern Nazarene Thursday in Shawnee…Katy Custer had a season-high 26 points including six three pointers to lead all scorers.
  • NWOSU was beaten 97-79 by league-leader Southwestern Oklahoma Thursday in Alva…Presley Payahsape, Bailey Brown and Kalea King each finished with 14 points for the Rangers.

  • Oklahoma Baptist ranks fourth in the GAC in scoring, averaging 72.8 points a game…The Lady Bison are 3-0 when they score 80 or more points
  • Autumn Avina ranks third in the GAC in scoring (17.7 ppg.), first in assists (8.3) and first in steals (57)…Avina has scored in double-figures all 15 games this season with 28 as her high-point total against Rogers State in November.
  • Victoria Blankenship had her fifth double-double (13 points, 11 rebounds) against SNU…She has done it previously against East Central, Central Christian, Henderson State and Ouachita Baptist.
