TOPEKA, Kansas – Oklahoma Baptist notched its first win of the season with a 4-1 victory at Washburn Saturday.

Abigail Parker got OBU on the scoreboard in the ninth minute with a long kick after a double assist by
Jennifer Goethe and
Hannah White.

Washburn tied the game in the 43
rd minute and the score was tied 1-1 at intermission.

White got the lead back to OBU, scoring with a feed from
Ruth King.
Kerregan Edwards scored five minutes later for a 3-1 lead with help from an
Abigail Hicks assist.

Kelsi Mensen scored with an assist by
Tori Kitchel in the 79
th minute.

Emily Griffith got the win in goal, recording six assists in her 85 minutes.

OBU took nine shots for the game and put six on goal.

Next up for the Lady Bison is a trip to Canyon, Texas, to take on West Texas A&M at 5:30 p.m.
