Lady Bison Host Rangers for GAC Opener

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist volleyball welcomes the Rangers of Northwestern Oklahoma State to the Mabee Arena inside the Noble Complex on Tuesday, Sept. 4 in what will serve as both team's first Great American Conference contest this season. First serve is slated for 7 p.m.
 
Oklahoma Baptist (3-6, 0-0 GAC) will look to halt a three-match skid when they take on a Northwestern (8-1, 0-0 GAC) squad that has enjoyed a hot start to the season. The Lady Bison and Rangers split the series, 1-1, last year, with both teams winning on their home courts.
 
The Lady Bison are currently swinging .144 while averaging 11.6 kills per set, led by Malia Leatherland at 3.32 kills per set. Mikayla Watson is second on the team with 2.96 kills/set. Jenna Gremmel is averaging 8.62 assists per set in her debut season on Bison Hill.
