DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Oklahoma Baptist volleyball were saddled with a pair of losses to close out the Bahama House Labor Day Classic on Saturday at the ICI Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Lady Bison dropped a 3-1 (25-19, 20-25, 21-25, 14-25) to Florida Tech before falling in a 3-0 (14-25, 16-25, 16-25) contest against host Embry-Riddle.

Malia Leatherland led the offense, averaging 18 kills per match on the day, including a career-high 23 against Florida Tech.
Jenna Gremmel totaled 73 assists for the match, with 47 coming in the loss to FIT.
Delayna Mills and
Kelsi Chavez split time as libero, with Chavez tallying 30 digs and Mills 20. Roquemore led the team at the net with four block assists, while the team posted nine total blocks on the day.

Oklahoma Baptist (3-6) returns to the Mabee Arena at the Noble Complex on Tuesday, Sept. 4 for their conference opener against Northwestern Oklahoma State. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
