SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist volleyball concludes competition at the Bahama House Labor Day Classic on Saturday, Sept. 1 with a pair of matches against Florida Tech and host Embry-Riddle at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively.

The Lady Bison (3-4) split a pair of matches against Bentley and Eckerd College on Friday to open the tournament. Florida Tech (1-4) and Embry-Riddle (3-1) had the late matches on Friday evening.

Watson paces an OBU offense that averages 11.5 kills per set with 3.05 kills of her own.
Malia Leatherland and
Nicole Fleitman are second and third on the team respectively at 2.71 and 2.05 kills/set.
Jenna Gremmel keeps the offense humming while handing out 8.23 assists per set.

Delayna Mills leads the way with 4.91 digs per set, while Watson, Gremmel and
Hayden Blair all have better than 2.00 digs per set. At the net, Fleitman and
Brecken Roquemore have combined for 1.31 blocks per set.

Florida Tech is hitting .134 on the season and are led on offense by Kelly Germain with 3.22 kills/set. Kiersten Rosa has a team-high 8.61 assists/set. Defensively for the Panthers, Kyra Atkinson and Sheila Villagrasa combine for 7.5 digs/set.

Embry-Riddle has hit an efficient .221 through five matches with Melanie Canfield and Erika Barbour linking up for 6.58 kills/set off 11.00 assists/set from Alyssa Rudd. On defense, Olivia Roe paces the Eagles with 5.75 digs/set to her credit through 12 sets.
