SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist volleyball opens their home schedule on Tuesday, Aug. 28 when they welcome Central Oklahoma to the Noble Complex for a 7 p.m. match.

Oklahoma Baptist (2-2) began their season south of the Red River last week, besting Midwestern State and Southwest Baptist at the Tarleton State Invitational. The Bronchos (2-2) also opened their season at the TSU Invitational, beating Southwest Baptist and host Tarleton State.

Mikayla Watson and
Malia Leatherland lead the Lady Bison offense at 3.15 and 2.25 kills per set, respectively. Freshman setter
Jenna Gremmel started all four matches at the Invitational, handing out 7.54 assists per set while also adding .77 kills/set.

Defensively,
Delayna Mills leads the team with 3.23 digs per set, including a 21-dig performance in her second career game in the green-and-gold.
Brecken Roquemore and
Nicole Fleitman played strong at the net, combining for 1.42 blocks per set.

Central Oklahoma currently averages 12.53 kills/set, led by Taylor Bevis at 4.29 kills/set. Amanda Desch leads the team with 77 assists, though she didn't feature in UCO's win over Tarleton State. Dominique Lipari is averaging a team-high 3.67 digs/set.
