SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist lacrosse returns to action Thursday in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference showdown at Adams State in Alamosa, Colorado.

It will mark the first game for the Lady Bison (4-7, 0-5 RMAC) in nearly three weeks, having last played on March 24.

OBU averages 8.27 goals per game on a .367 shooting percentage. The Lady Bison rank eighth in the nation in caused turnovers per game, forcing 13.64 per contest.
Allison Ingrim is sixth in the country with 2.91 caused turnovers per game.

Breanna Wichert owns the team lead with 20 goals scored and
Lauren McCormack has a team-leading 33 points, including 16 goals and a team-high 17 assists. McCormack also leads OBU with 49 draw controls won.
Olivia Ward has scooped up 35 ground balls and
Courtney Barnickle owns an 11.68 goals-against average on a .424 save percentage.

Last season, the Lady Bison defeated Adams State 7-6 at the OBU Lacrosse Complex. McCormack, Ingrim, Wichert and
Maysn Ungerer each scored in the winning effort.

The Grizzlies (1-7, 0-5 RMAC) enter the game on a two-game losing streak. ASU averages 4.13 goals per game while allowing 17.50 to opponents. Savannah Penland paces the Grizzlies with nine goals, Jessica Hammer has won 28 draw controls and Kendell Baylor is tied with Alexis Wellong for the team lead at 19 ground balls each. Wellong sports a 17.60 goals-against average and makes saves at a .399 clip.
