SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist lacrosse begins Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play Friday at 6 p.m. when they host Fort Lewis College at the OBU Lacrosse Complex.

The Lady Bison (2-2) are in game three of a five-game home stand. OBU defeated Missouri Baptist in the home opener before falling to No. 21 McKendree last weekend.

This season, the Lady Bison average 10.25 goals scored while allowing 8.75 goals per game, which ranks 26
th in NCAA Division II this season. OBU has dominated the center circle, winning 62 draw controls while allowing only 21 to opponents. The 15.50 draw controls per game are tied for No. 26 in the country.

Lauren McCormack leads the team in goals scored and assists with nine each, and has won 23 draw controls.
Taylor Skomp has scored eight goals and collected a team-high 13 ground balls. Senior midfielder
Allison Ingrim has six goals, 12 ground balls and a team-high 16 caused turnovers. As a team, the Lady Bison have caused 62 turnovers for an average of 13.00 per game, which ranks No. 15.

Courtney Barnickle is 2-2 with a 9.93 goals-allowed average. She makes saves at a .450 clip and has started all four games for OBU, playing 199 total minutes in goal.

The Skyhawks (1-4, 1-1 RMAC) score 10.20 goals per contest and give up 16.00. Kelli Warmouth paces the team with 13 goals, five assists, 19 draw controls and nine caused turnovers. Taylor Cabrera has added 10 goals and 13 ground balls and Daris Wienk owns a 14.87 goals-allowed average on a .315 save percentage.
