RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Oklahoma Baptist lost a pair of mercy-rule games at Arkansas Tech Saturday, 9-1 and 14-6.

OBU scored in the first inning of the opener for a 1-0 lead on an RBI double by
Bry Flanagan.

The Lady Bison had four hits, including two by Flanagan.

Chandler Roberts took the loss in the first game and
Katie Long was tagged with the loss in the second game.

OBU had leads of 1-0 and 3-1 in the second game.

Flanagan again had an RBI double in the first inning of the second game and
Aspen Grimes contributed a two-run double in the third.

Down 8-3, OBU scored three times in the fifth when one run came in on Flanagan's double play ball and two more on a home run by
Cheyenne Demaree.

The Lady Bison had eight hits, including two by
Katie Reyes.

OBU travels to Alva to take on Northwestern next week with doubleheaders at 4 p.m. Thursday and 2 p.m. Friday.
